CREDIT

MeritCare Health System is accredited by the North Dakota Medical Association to sponsor continuing education for physicians.  MeritCare Health System designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 in Category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician=s Recognition Award.  Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.   Category 1 credit is not available to those viewing the webcast of this program.

Program Objectives:

 

Review the epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, and clinical features of the topic discussed.

Perform necessary diagnostic studies correctly.

Apply state-of-the-art therapeutic techniques (including the implications of pharmaceutical therapy discussed).

Explore the differential diagnosis of the topic discussed.

Recognize both likely and rare complications that may occur in quality pediatric patient care.
