I
am a non-traditional student here at the University of North Dakota.
I am 25 years old and I already have a bachelor's degree in Biological
Sciences-Biology option from Montana State University. I graduated
from there in May of 1995. I am now pursuing a bachelor's degree
in Clinical Laboratory Science here at UND. To learn more about
the University of North Dakota's School of Medicine and Health Sciences,
you can go to UND School of Medicine
and Health Sciences home page.
Other things that I am involved in are: the North
Dakota Army National Guard, the Mental Health Association in North Dakota
and working part-time at ECOLAB, Inc.'s Pest Elimination Division.
I am a Military Intelligence Branch qualified officer in the Army National Guard. To learn more about the Military Intelligence Branch of the U.S. Army, you can visit the U.S. Army's Intelligence Center's home page. (The training center is located at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona.)
I am also a volunteer for the HELPLINE. This is a 24-hour, statewide, crisis and information referral line that the Mental Health Association in North Dakota (MHAND) operates. The phone number is 1-800-472-2911. While there are other crisis lines in North Dakota, the HELPLINE has the distinction of being the only crisis line certified through the American Association of Suicidology. To learn more about the American Association of Suicidology, you can go to AAS's home page.
I also work (very) part-time for ECOLAB, Inc.'s Pest Elimination Division. I answer their toll-free customer service number on the week-ends. To learn more about ECOLAB, you can go to ECOLAB's home page.
