A School Without Walls

The University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences is one of 25 community-based medical schools in the country, which means it relies on more than 900 part-time or volunteer clinical faculty in over 30 communities throughout the state to educate medical students and residents. There are four clinical campuses located in Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks and Minot. Allied health students receive training across the country, including an occupational therapy campus in Casper, WY and a clinical laboratory science campus at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
