General Email Transition Information

In order to simplify and enhance communication, UND along with the North Dakota University System has adopted standardized email systems for faculty/staff (BPOS/Outlook) and students (Live@edu).

This project is a part of the Core Technology Unified Communication recommendation approved in May 2010. It was intended to unify the 11 different email systems on campus. Faculty/Staff Email System-BPOS

For Med School Faculty and Staff, you have been assigned a med.und.edu email address.  When your account was/is created, an @und.edu email address alias was/is automatically generated as well.  Therefore you do not need to change anything.  Any e-mail correspondence sent to your @und.edu address will automatically show up in your med account.

Please have your department contact UNDSMHS IT Services to request a new BPOS account. 701-777-TECH (8324) or email und.med.its@med.und.edu.

PREVIOUS MED FACULTY/STAFF/STUDENT/RESIDENT-MAIL (Started prior to 2011)
If you currently have a medicine email address, we have no particular time-frame for when these accounts will be shut down. They do need to be checked or forwarded however, or they will be removed from the system. If you previously had a medicine account but are no longer able to access, please contact your affiliated department or the Med School ITS Department at 701-777-TECH (8324) or email und.med.its@med.und.edu.
