Clinical Consultant
Dr. White Plume has been with CHPPR since 2001 and recently completed a three-year
postdoctoral fellowship. She now consults with CHPPR faculty and staff on several projects
including evaluating the effectiveness of various media strategies for health promotion
in rural youth; enhancing prenatal care for American Indian patients; and improving American
Indian youth health through the
Sunka Wakan Ah-ku (Bringing Back the Horses) Program.
Dr. White Plume completed her behavioral medicine-focused pre-doctoral internship at the
University of Florida and received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from UND in 2006.
Additionally, Dr. White Plume holds a Masters of Public Health from the University of
Minnesota.
